GHT in Numbers

It’s been is a long journey.

We’ve been helping pension members for over 10 years and during that time we’ve located people across the globe.

22 counties to date, and counting.

We reach some pretty far flung places.

Much of our work still centres around the British Isles but we also locate UK pension members living in places from Canada to Cambodia and Jamaica to Johannesburg..our reach is truly global.

Did you know?

The size

Failure to keep tabs on old workplace pensions has led to billions of pounds worth of savings being misplaced or forgotten about, according to The Association of British Insurers (ABI). The ABI estimates the figure at around £19.4 billion, comprising 1.6 million pots with an average size of £13,000

People move jobs

The average person over the age of 65 has worked for 5 or 6 employers over the course of their career, whilst nearly 25% of those in the 25-34 age bracket have already worked for this number of employers. This means that the younger generation will almost certainly have a variety of pension pots by the time they retire.

Who benefits?

23% of UK adults have lost track of at least one pension scheme with 20% saying they have lost the paperwork relating to their pension. Pension companies class 47% of all missing pensions as 'lost in the mists of time'

People move

Did you know that people these days move house more often than did their grandparents? According to a Royal Mail survey, those under 35 have already lived in an average of five homes. The more people move, the more chance they have of losing important documents, such as their pension details.

Our TrustPilot Reviews

When a letter arrived out of the blue regarding a pension belonging to my husband who passed a few years ago I was shocked and dubious/sceptical of scams. I responded by email confirming nothing but information stated in the letter, confirming it was correct. I received a reply stating they didn’t need any more details, passed on the pension information but advised the pension company will be in touch directly within the next month or so.

Was not expecting the letter I received about a pension that I had 40 years ago so was very pleased. Was sceptic at first but googled the company and saw it was legit and returned Janey's messages. Waiting to see how much this has all been worth the time! Thoroughly recommend.

I spoke with Janey at GHT Global. She contacted me regarding an unclaimed pension fund belonging to my late husband. She was warm and empathetic - and explained clearly what GHT do. I am now in conversations with the organisation who manages my husband's fund - which I'm incredibly grateful for.
